1tbsp mayonnaise

2tbsp softened butter

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 bunch basil, chopped

1 small ciabatta, sliced lengthways

2tbsp grated parmesan or other cheese

salt and pepper

 

 

Mix the mayonnaise, butter and garlic together until as smooth as you can make it.

Stir through the basil and add salt and pepper to taste.

Spread the butter mixture onto both halves of the ciabatta and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Place on a baking tray and place under a high grill for 2-3 minutes.
