It's easy to let the name put off any self-respecting veggie...but...

Another pub food chain, Beefeater provides much of the standard fare which is expected but it does have quite a few vegetarian options on the menu.

It is fine if you want a salad as there are three to choose from, each at £5.99, and if you are willing to pay £4.50 for it you can have a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich. Or there is the brie and cranberry baguette for £4.25.

Other than that, there is the usual jacket potato with cheese and baked beans or a plate of nachos to share.

The only really exciting dish on the menu is the quesadilla wrap served with rice. This is delicious but, for a pub meal, is highly priced at £8.99.

Perusing this menu, a vegetarian would be pleased to see a variety of meals but (as is also true in the case of the meat-eaters) might feel that the prices are very expensive for bar-food.

(Some pubs in the chain have designated restaurants attached. This is not a review of the restaurant meals.)
