Serves 4-6

 

397g can condensed milk

170g/6oz crushed digestive biscuits

85g/3oz melted butter

2 bananas

lemon juice

284ml double cream

 

Boil the can of condensed milk in water for

1½ hours. Keep covered or turn continuously.

Mix the crushed digestive biscuits with the melted butter and cover the bottom of a 9” flan tin.

Put in fridge to cool.

Spread the cooked condensed milk over the base.

Slice the bananas and sprinkle with lemon juice. Place on top( keeping a few slices back).

Whisk the double cream until firm. Then cover the pie with it. Finish off with the extra banana slices.
